I am writing to formally demand the immediate removal of the following articles from your websites:
This content was published without my knowledge, consent, or authorization. I never approved this material for publication. The following specific grounds require its immediate removal:
1. MATERIAL FALSITY: Kaura Therapeutics is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is currently dissolving and terminating by the IRS as of 2026. It dissolved in New York State in 2025. The content portrays the organization as active and operational, which is materially false.
2. UNAUTHORIZED PUBLICATION: This content was published without my authorization and contains fabricated or unverified claims presented as fact. I engaged your firm for PR services, but at no point approved or greenlit any publication.
3. MISREPRESENTATION OF MY PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCES: The characterization of my financial circumstances is factually incorrect and was included without my knowledge or consent. This constitutes a false statement of fact that is damaging to my personal and professional reputation.
4. DONOR FRAUD RISK: This content could mislead potential donors into contributing to a defunct entity. Publishing fundraising appeals on behalf of an organization without the authorization of its founder, for an organization that is dissolving by the IRS and that has already dissolved in New York State, creates serious fraud liability exposure for your firm and the websites on which this content appears.
I have already contacted GoDaddy, which hosts all three websites, and have filed removal requests with Microsoft Bing. I am prepared to pursue all available legal remedies including claims for defamation, false light invasion of privacy, breach of contract, and unauthorized use of my name under New York Civil Rights Law Sections 50 and 51 if this content is not removed promptly.
I expect written confirmation that all three articles have been removed within five (5) business days of this letter. If not, I will file a lawsuit.
